The recent Impact Clinic conducted at Brisbane Boys' College was extremely successful with 74 boys attending the 3 days of coaching. The clinic was blessed with fine weather and an enthusiastic group of cricketers aged between 8 - 16 years.

It was a wonderful sight to see so many boys taking the opportunity to improve their cricket skills and enjoy their cricket. The cricketers received excellent coaching from the experienced, qualified coaches in all facets of the game and even learnt some things to do with scoring, umpiring and cricket etiquette. All participants enjoyed healthy morning teas and lunches daily to boost their energy for the numerous activities and games. The final day also saw some 'test matches' fiercely contested in a friendly, competitive atmosphere.

It was great to have Qld Bulls players Craig Philipson and Chris Hartley (BBC Old Boys) at the clinic to provide some coaching while a highlight of the week was the guest appearance by Australian test cricketer Andy Bichel who offered some valuable tips about the game as well as signing autographs. Andy certainly showed why he is so respected by all involved with the game of cricket and the boys were obviously thrilled by his presence.

Congratulations to all participants on making the latest Impact Cricket Academy clinic most successful.
